This project in Canterbury involved a complete transformation of a front garden into a clean, modern resin bound driveway, covering approximately 90m².
The existing area was tired and uneven, with old surfaces and poor usability. The aim was to create a practical driveway space while also improving the overall look of the property with structured landscaping and clean finishes.
5. Step Installation
A new step was built to improve access to the property, tying in neatly with the driveway and surrounding brickwork.
6. New Fencing Installation
New fencing was installed to complete the boundary, giving the property added privacy and a fresh, tidy appearance.
7. Resin Bound Surface Application
Finally, the resin bound surface was laid across the full 90m² area, creating a smooth, seamless and low-maintenance finish that is both practical and visually appealing.
Out Process
We carried out a full excavation and rebuild of the area to ensure a strong, long-lasting result.
1. Full Excavation & Ground Preparation
The existing surface was broken out and removed, with all waste cleared from site. The area was then excavated to the correct depth ready for a new sub-base.
2. Sub-Base & Membrane Installation
A new foundation was installed using a compacted sub-base, along with a semi-permeable membrane system to support drainage and prevent movement. Proper groundwork is key to ensuring durability and longevity for resin driveways .
3. Brickwork & Structural Features
We constructed new brickwork features including curved retaining walls and defined flower beds. Pressed bricks were used to create clean edges and add a decorative finish to the overall design.
4. Charcoal Key Kerb Edging
Charcoal key kerbs were installed around the driveway to provide strong edging and a neat border, helping to keep the resin securely in place.

The finished driveway has completely transformed the front of the property. The resin surface provides a clean, modern look, while the new brickwork, flower beds and fencing add structure and character.
