Our team recently completed this stunning resin bound footpath installation in New Romney, transforming an ageing concrete pathway into a sleek, low-maintenance entrance that dramatically enhances the property’s kerb appeal.
The existing path had become weathered, stained and cracked in places, giving the front of the property a tired appearance. The homeowner wanted a clean, contemporary surface that would complement their recently improved landscaping while providing a durable and permeable walkway.

The Project
We began by carefully preparing the existing concrete base, ensuring it was suitable for the new resin system. During the preparation works, we also uncovered and inspected the existing drainage chamber, carrying out repairs to the damaged underground pipework before installing a recessed manhole cover. This allows the inspection chamber to remain fully accessible while blending seamlessly into the finished surface.
A new concrete section was installed where required to create a continuous, solid foundation before the resin application. The pathway was finished with a stylish Azzuro Blue resin bound aggregate, perfectly framed with charcoal block edging to create a crisp, modern finish.
The installation also included the side access pathway, providing a consistent appearance from the front entrance through to the rear of the property.
