New Brick Wall Installation | New Romney

  • Location: New Romney
  • Project: Front Garden Brick Wall Installation
  • Duration: 2 days

Our team recently completed this front garden brick wall installation in New Romney, replacing a tired and deteriorating boundary with a smart, durable new wall that improves both the appearance and definition of the property frontage.

The existing wall had become worn and unstable over time, with damaged brickwork and sections requiring complete removal. The homeowner wanted a traditional replacement that would complement the bungalow while creating a neat and secure boundary between the garden and pavement.

The Project

We began by carefully dismantling the old boundary wall and clearing away the damaged bricks, mortar and surrounding debris. The area was then excavated and prepared to ensure the replacement wall could be constructed on a stable and correctly aligned foundation.

Using guide lines throughout the installation, our bricklayers rebuilt the wall with red facing bricks chosen to suit the character and colouring of the property. The wall was constructed in carefully measured sections, with evenly spaced brick pillars added to provide strength and create an attractive traditional design.

Particular attention was given to keeping the brick courses level and the mortar joints clean and consistent. Once the wall had been completed, light-coloured coping caps were installed on top of the pillars to protect the brickwork and provide a crisp finishing detail.

The Finished Result

The completed brick wall has significantly improved the frontage of this New Romney home. The new boundary looks clean, solid and well proportioned, while the red brickwork blends naturally with the existing bungalow.

As well as improving kerb appeal, the wall provides a clearly defined and durable boundary designed to withstand the weather and remain attractive for many years.
