Our team recently completed this stylish grey resin bound path and patio installation in New Romney, transforming tired concrete surfaces into a seamless, modern outdoor space.
The existing pathways and patio had become weathered and worn over time, with ageing concrete that no longer complemented the property’s attractive exterior. The Project
We began by thoroughly preparing the existing concrete base, ensuring it provided a stable foundation for the new resin surface. During the preparation works, we also uncovered the inspection chamber and carried out repairs to damaged underground drainage before fitting a recessed manhole cover, allowing easy future access while remaining virtually invisible within the finished resin.
Once all repairs were completed, the new resin bound surface was professionally laid across the front pathway, side access and patio areas. A premium grey aggregate was selected to complement the property’s modern colour scheme, while charcoal edging created crisp, defined borders throughout.
The seamless finish creates an attractive transition between each outdoor area while providing a durable, permeable surface that is comfortable to walk on and easy to maintain. Resin bound surfacing is ideal for paths and patios, offering the appearance of loose gravel without stones moving underfoot.
