The Work Carried Out
We carried out a full excavation and rebuild to ensure the new porcelain patio would be strong, stable, and built to last.
- Excavation & Removal
All existing slabs and loose materials were broken out and removed. The area was then excavated to the correct depth to allow for a proper sub-base and full construction build-up. - Sub-Base Installation
A new sub-base was installed using compacted hardcore to create a solid and reliable foundation. This step is essential in preventing any future movement or sinking. - Base Preparation
A full mortar bed was laid and carefully levelled to ensure a consistent surface for the porcelain slabs. Accuracy at this stage is key to achieving a high-quality finish. - Porcelain Slab Installation
Large-format porcelain slabs were installed in a clean, modern layout. Each slab was precisely positioned and evenly spaced to create sharp lines and a professional finish. - Finishing Touches
The patio was completed with neat edging and a recessed manhole cover, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the design without disrupting the overall look.
